About the role

  • Medicaid Financial Analyst compiling financial reports and supporting Green Mountain Care healthcare programs. Requires financial reporting experience and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Compiling, creating, and delivering various financial reports on daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Interacting regularly with the State of Vermont, healthcare providers, claims processing, and customer service departments.
  • Providing a full range of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions in support of Green Mountain Care healthcare programs.
  • Completing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, including daily receipts and bank deposits.
  • Supporting Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) site reviews and managing claims and data reconciliation for Carved-In 340B participating Vermont Medicaid providers.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Strong business, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with financial reporting, supported by strong mathematical and Excel proficiency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to independently QA/QC one’s own work.
