About the role
- Operations Supervisor overseeing daily operations of the Check Posting and Research Department at Gainwell Technologies. Managing a team to ensure compliance and high levels of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of approximately 17 employees within the check posting and research functions
- Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily workloads to ensure checks are posted accurately and on time
- Ensure all check processing and posting activities are completed in accordance with established SLAs
- Track work progress and productivity using Excel and internal reporting tools
- Investigate posting discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate internal departments or stakeholders for resolution
- Act as a point of escalation for operational issues, workflow delays, or quality concerns
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding team performance, workflow status, and process improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow within the department
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience (required)
- Strong Excel experience, including tracking, reporting, and data review (required)
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
