About the role

• Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing key services and applications in hybrid work setting for Future. Involves working with technologies like Java, TypeScript, and collaborating with agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and foster shared ownership, shaping the right solutions to business needs while safeguarding and evolving the platform for long-term sustainability
• Deliver solutions end-to-end, setting the standard for high-performing, robust and maintainable code with automated tests, and providing (and improving) operational support for the platform, with a strong focus on observability, reliability, and incident response
• Participate in the team’s frequent, safe, release cadence—helping ensure production readiness, coordinating with Product/Business, and placing particular emphasis on observability: robust monitoring, alerting, and post-deployment technical and functional validation
• Collaborate closely with the team at a senior level to evolve codebase and tooling—co-defining and upholding standards for maintainability, performance, and scalability—leading improvements to integration/deployment pipelines, proactively managing technical debt with clear roadmaps, and evaluating and introducing technologies that create leverage.

Requirements

• Passionate about architecting and delivering complex, integrated systems across multiple technologies
• Experience in web development or service-oriented architecture, on the backend (Java/Kotlin, Spring is a plus) and frontend development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React), ideally in a high-availability, high-performance cloud environment
• Strong, hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools and practices—such as GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies—and continuously deepen expertise
• Enjoy teamwork and have practical experience with agile organization and team responsibility, and the use of standards such as XP and clean code
• Thrive in collaborative, agile teams, take shared ownership of outcomes, and bring deep, hands-on experience such as XP, TDD, clean code, and continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively in distributed settings and have working proficiency in English—comfortable participating in regular meetings, collaborating asynchronously.
