  • Technical Sales Manager focusing on customer acquisition and project management in the railway communication solutions industry. Collaborating on technical concepts and customer advisory services.

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new customers and management of existing customer relationships
  • Providing technical advice to customers and developing suitable concepts
  • Preparation and drafting of technical proposals/quotes
  • Follow-up through approval and support during price negotiations
  • Careful preparation of orders and handover to project management or production
  • Conducting product presentations and customer training
  • Participation in trade shows and industry events and follow-up of leads
  • Monitoring trends and deriving recommendations for sales and product development
  • Close collaboration with product management, development, service and production

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering/Technical Management
  • Experience in technical sales or project-based business is an advantage
  • Strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills
  • Independent, structured working style and willingness to travel
  • Very good German and good English language skills
