About the role
- SAP Application Manager responsible for SAP S/4HANA and contract manufacturing processes. Leading governance and integration efforts in a dynamic beverage company.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end responsibility for SAP S/4HANA with a primary focus on MM (master data, purchasing, inventory, batches, raw materials, production supply), as well as SD (order processing, pricing and logistics) and FI/CO (basic process integration).
- You design and optimize processes across the supply chain and integrate production processes.
- You ensure the data quality of material master data, bills of materials, and production-relevant parameters.
- You take primary responsibility for all SAP MM processes related to contract manufacturing.
- You ensure end-to-end material and production processes between fritz-kola and contract manufacturers and manage interfaces via SAP BTP.
- You are responsible for governance of BTP services including integration of S/4HANA, C4C, partner and external systems, as well as for EDI operations, monitoring, error analysis, new message formats and the further development of the integration architecture with external partners.
- You operate, further develop and integrate C4C, S/4 and BTP, including supporting Sales and Customer Operations to optimize CRM usage and ensuring data consistency and process alignment between C4C and S/4.
- You hold both functional and disciplinary responsibility for three team members ("fritzen").
- You coordinate external service providers for SAP and integration operations and establish a clear governance model for operations, development, testing and release management.
- You plan and lead SAP projects and are responsible for the roadmap for S/4, MM processes and BTP integrations.
- Interface management between business departments and external partners.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with several years of relevant professional experience as an SAP Application Owner / Process Owner / Consultant or a comparable role.
- An excellent blend of business process and IT system expertise.
- Strong knowledge of methods and techniques in SAP S/4HANA MM and a comprehensive understanding of other SAP modules such as SD and FI/CO.
- Solid methodological and technical knowledge of SAP standards and a good understanding of the relevant SAP product portfolio.
- Good understanding of SAP software architecture, IT security and cloud technologies, with deep experience in BTP, APIs, integration scenarios and EDI procedures.
- Desirable: Experience with contract manufacturing / tolling in the food industry is an advantage.
- Initial leadership experience is desirable.
