About the role
- Facharzt (m/w/d) specializing in SAPV at Klinik Dr. Hancken in Stade. Improving quality of life for patients with advanced diseases through specialized palliative care.
Responsibilities
- Conducting and coordinating specialized outpatient palliative care (SAPV) for patients.
- Working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Advising and supporting patients and their relatives on medical and psychosocial matters.
- Planning and performing home visits and documenting the course of treatment.
- Participating in regular team meetings and continuing education.
Requirements
- You are a specialist physician (m/f/d) in internal medicine or a comparable clinical specialty.
- The additional qualification in palliative medicine is desirable; alternatively, we enable you to obtain it promptly through our full authorization for further training on site.
- Experience in palliative medicine is an advantage.
- High social competence and empathy in dealing with patients and their relatives.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts.
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
- Capacity for independent and structured working.
