About the role

  • Student position supporting accounting and administrative tasks at Fraunhofer Institute in Frankfurt am Main. Engaging in projects for financial and inventory management with a part-time commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Support in accounting and purchasing, including processing payment reminders, goods receipt verification, and supplier invoices
  • Coordination of information and document flow with our headquarters
  • Support for quality assurance in accounting (e.g., document review, processing, and archiving)
  • Assistance with equipment management, e.g., inventory recording and conducting stocktakes
  • Handling basic reception and guest services tasks
  • Support with administrative tasks related to reception

Requirements

  • Enrolled student, ideally in business administration, public administration, business informatics, or a comparable degree program
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Confident use of MS Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Interest in administrative and accounting processes
  • Willingness to be regularly on-site on Fridays
