About the role

  • Institutional Sales & Service Associate role at Franklin Templeton focusing on client service and relationship management. Collaborating with sales and management teams to maintain institutional client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality service to institutional clients
  • Respond to client inquiries and service requests promptly
  • Resolve issues by partnering with internal teams
  • Maintain strong, ongoing client relationships
  • Support asset retention through effective servicing
  • Manage client deliverables and presentation materials
  • Ensure timelines and deadlines are consistently met
  • Coordinate requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs)
  • Ensure responses are accurate and submitted on time
  • Address account-related issues through cross-functional coordination
  • Partner with Sales and Relationship Managers to support business goals
  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems
  • Support compliance reviews and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent relevant financial services industry experience
  • 5 years’ experience in the fund manager, bank, or securities industry essential
  • Fluency in English – spoken and written, is essential
  • French fluency is a plus
  • Canadian Securities Course preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong multi-tasker with adherence to established time frames and schedules
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
