About the role
- Sourcing Operations Manager responsible for supporting procurement strategies at ForeFront Power. Focus on sourcing expertise for project execution and advisory engagements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own a comprehensive sourcing strategy to support the growth of ForeFront Power
- Work with the Executive team to standardize vendor/supplier solicitation, qualification, selection, development, and overall management processes
- Work with legal to design and update form-standard contracting documents for vendor services agreements
- Collaborate with Execution, Development, and Engineering teams to analyze procurement options and assist in making equipment supply recommendations
- Maintain key equipment supplier and warehousing relationships and assist in securing and tracking key materials/supplies as needed
- Manage inventory control, including physical warehouse inventory auditing and record reconciliation
- Assist in the development of RFPs and oversee their execution as needed to support the various business units at ForeFront Power
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and provide ongoing assessment and recommendations for cost reduction across both direct and indirect project spend categories
- Measure project spend and track, and report against industry benchmarks where possible
- Support the company’s commitment to diversity through active MWBE vendor tracking and performance reporting with ongoing recommendations on how to improve results
- Additional job duties as assigned by the Chief Technical Officer in support of sourcing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in business with a concentration in supply chain management or procurement
- 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience (both direct and indirect)
- Highly desire candidates with category experience in Renewables, Energy, and Facilities Services sourcing
- Strong organizational, project management, and communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong quantitative and cost analysis skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools
