About the role

  • Marketing Analyst at Ford responsible for product lifecycle management and market analysis to enhance competitiveness. Collaborating with various teams to align product strategies with market demands.

Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Management: Lead product planning from initial feasibility studies, actively participating in Business Case approvals, through phase-out strategy and transition to new models; understand the commercial vehicle business and Ford Racing.
  • Market Intelligence and Benchmarking: Monitor and analyze competitors in depth (prices, trim levels, equipment, and sales performance) to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Product Definition: Develop the value proposition and equipment configuration for each trim/version, ensuring the product meets Ford customer expectations and the company's cost and revenue targets.
  • Pricing Strategy: Analyze and recommend market price positioning, seeking the optimal balance between competitiveness, market share and contribution margin.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Serve as the product expert for Communications, Training, and Sales teams, ensuring competitive differentiators and sales arguments are communicated correctly.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor sales KPIs, market share and profitability by model, drive complexity reduction, and propose corrective actions or incentives when necessary.
  • Voice of the Customer: Analyze customer satisfaction surveys and consumer trends to influence future product generations or mid-cycle updates (facelifts/model-year updates).
  • Stakeholder Management: Direct interface with regional and global product planning teams to align strategies and portfolio.

Requirements

  • YOU MUST BE PASSIONATE ABOUT CARS!
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields;
  • Solid experience in Product Marketing, Strategic Planning or Market Intelligence (preferably in the automotive sector);
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen (ability to read and interpret engineering documents and financial statements);
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for pricing models and market analyses) and PowerPoint (for executive presentations);
  • Advanced English (required for interaction with global teams);
  • Technical knowledge: Familiarity with vehicle technical specifications, connectivity technologies and powertrains;
  • Communication skills: Ability to distill complex data into clear strategic recommendations for leadership;
  • Proactivity and leadership: Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams without direct authority;
  • Preferred: Experience with market-analysis tools (Power BI or similar).
