Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating engaging, high‑quality learning experiences that support automotive and electric vehicle manufacturing teams.
This role works closely with business partners and subject matter experts to identify skill needs, design effective curriculum, and deliver instructor‑led, virtual, and digital training aligned to business goals.
The Learning Designer applies modern instructional design practices, data insights, and AI‑enabled tools to improve learning effectiveness, personalize experiences, and continuously evolve programs as manufacturing technologies and processes change.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Ed or a related field with 4 or more years of experience in curriculum development and learning strategy.
Strong mastery of ID models (ADDIE, SAM), adult learning theories, and technical writing.
Advanced skills in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia), Adobe Creative Cloud, and Learning Management Systems (LMS/LXP).
Proven ability to manage complex, simultaneous projects, translate business gaps into learning solutions, and align L&D metrics with organizational success.
Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex technical information.
Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Ed or related field is a plus.
Experience in video scripting and production (Premiere, Vyond, Synthesia, SimpleShow, guidde) and graphic design is a plus.
Proficiency in using Generative AI for content drafting and learning analytics is a plus.
Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and Electric Vehicle (EV) technologies is a plus.
Fluency in a second language is a plus.
