About the role
- Hardware-Designer developing and enhancing electronic display systems for Funkwerk, focusing on innovative communication and safety systems. Collaborating with teams and supporting technical inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Planning and development of new electronic display systems as well as further development of existing systems within a team
- Supporting the commissioning of developed display systems at our production site
- Performing failure analyses and troubleshooting
- Advising and providing technical support to internal departments on electrotechnical issues
- Creating, maintaining and updating technical documentation, circuit diagrams and maintenance records
- Conducting tests and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations
- Participating in the selection and procurement of electrotechnical components
Requirements
- Completed training as an electronics technician (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification
- Further training in electrical engineering is a plus
- Experience in planning and implementing electrotechnical systems
- Confident use of common software tools, e.g., CAD systems
- Knowledge of EMC-compliant design and testing procedures
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design
- Knowledge of working with microcontrollers and common communication protocols
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken); English skills are an advantage
