About the role
- Hardware-Designer developing electronic display systems. Planning, implementing, and supporting technical solutions in transport and security systems at Funkwerk.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop new electronic display systems as well as enhance existing systems in a team.
- Support the commissioning of the developed display systems at our production site.
- Perform fault analyses and resolve malfunctions in our systems.
- Provide consulting and technical support to internal departments on electrical engineering matters.
- Create, maintain and update technical documentation, circuit diagrams and maintenance logs.
- Execute tests and ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.
- Participate in the selection and procurement of electrical components.
Requirements
- Completed training as an electronics technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification.
- Further training in electrical engineering is an advantage but not required.
- Experience in planning and implementing electrical systems.
- Confident use of common software tools, e.g. CAD systems for schematic creation and MS Office.
- Knowledge of EMC-compliant design and corresponding test procedures.
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience with microcontrollers and common communication protocols.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken); English skills are an advantage.
