Lead Specialist, Loan Operations focused on collecting and preparing loan closing documents. Coordinating processes, reviewing for errors, and ensuring compliance as a part of FNBO team.
Responsibilities
Collect and prepare documents for closing loans
Coordinating the process, review the docs for errors
Take action to correct said error(s) and learn from the errors
Determine the appropriate documentation and coordinate the preparation of LaserPro loan documents
Review and analyze credit transactions
Communicate any questions and issues to the lender and management
Review attorney prepared loan documentation
Analyze collateral requirements
Review loan agreements
Review participation certificates
Review loan transactions after closing
Communicate issues to lenders, lending unit management, and department management
Submit completed files to FNTO Loan Servicing for booking
Review transactions for purchased participations
Follow up to ensure security interests in collateral have been perfected
Follow up on collateral and lien perfection documentation
Assist lending staff with the correction of exceptions and deficiencies
Participate in monthly TBR meetings
Assist in researching Loan Review documentation exceptions
Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication is a must
Excellent time management skills including the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision within assigned deadlines
Ability to define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and anticipate what needs to be done to accomplish resolutions
Knowledge of bookkeeping and balancing concepts with an understanding of the proper use of debits and credits
Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and the Microsoft suite of software products
Demonstrated proactive thinking in a production/operational department
Excellent 10-key skills and keyboarding skills
