About the role
- Intern supporting investment analysis and strategy in a gap year program at Carlsquare, FlexCapital, and OMMAX. Engaging in M&A, Strategy, Tech, and Digital projects across teams in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Support various teams in preparing and analyzing a wide range of analyses (including market, financial, industry, company, and capital market analyses) across different media
- Conduct diverse research on companies, markets, potential investors, and topics of client interest
- Assist in creating presentations, teasers, and studies, and support activities such as workshops, meetings, market research, stakeholder engagement, and solution design for both client and internal projects
- Prepare for and participate in expert calls and weekly meetings (reviewing deal flow, analyzing and presenting new investment opportunities, presenting market analyses)
- Support the development of end-to-end digital strategies and participate in strategic and operational projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline with excellent grades
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Structured, proactive approach combined with a high level of self-motivation
- Strong interest in the investment world and affinity for the internet and technology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
