About the role

  • Senior IT & Technical Support Specialist managing IT operations for a startup. Overseeing network security, server issues, and vendor coordination in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure the policies in Bitdefender
  • Manage the Splashtop account
  • Handle complex server/cloud issues.
  • Oversee network security (VPNs, Wi-Fi, firewalls, password management, 2FA).
  • Maintain device inventory and enforce IT policies (onboarding/offboarding, access control, backups).
  • Coordinate with vendors (ISPs, hardware suppliers, security tools).
  • Support teams with hardware/software issues, license renewals, and basic integrations
  • Assist with data privacy and security compliance

Requirements

  • 5+ years in IT admin or helpdesk for startups/Software Companies
  • Experience managing Bitdefender GravityZone (policy creation and deployment).
  • Experience with Splashtop or similar remote access tools for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot office WiFi (Access Points, Firewalls) and VPNs.
  • Hardware: Strong knowledge of both MacOS and Windows laptop setup
