About the role

  • Rent Account Manager supporting tenants in the Victory Homes area to manage rent accounts. Proactive collection and assisting to sustain tenancy while preventing rent debt.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive and effective collection of rent within the "Victory Homes" area
  • Support tenants to sustain their tenancy and help prevent rent debt
  • Work with tenants in their home on a 1-2-1 basis when required
  • Ensure tenants are managing their rent accounts in the best way
  • Set up regular rent payments and prevent debt from reoccurring
  • Work closely with tenants to understand the cause of their debt and locate relevant support agencies
  • Support manager with the vision, Housing Made Simple, ensuring compliance with the law and policies

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to deliver complex and difficult messages in a simple and engaging way
  • Ability to listen and empathise
  • Proficient in numerical and systems skills
  • Ability to confidently prioritise and manage a case load based on urgency
  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard or qualified by experience in a similar role
  • Full valid driving licence
