About the role

• As a Financial Controller at flaconi, you will drive financial reporting and planning operations. Collaborate with management and optimize reporting processes for effective decision making.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you are primarily responsible for flaconi's financial reporting processes. You will review, summarize, and comment on flaconi’s monthly financial performance and present it to the Management/Investor Board.
• Create and optimize internal and external financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for stakeholders such as the CFO and the parent company.
• Together with your colleagues, manage and enhance the financial tools used for month-end closing, monthly forecasting, and budget planning.
• Participate in optimizing existing processes and ensure the effective use of existing financial reporting and planning tools, as well as other controlling/FP&A tools.
• Continuously improve our reporting and planning processes by designing blueprints and driving their implementation.
• Handle ad-hoc requests to ensure the timely availability of required reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in controlling/FP&A, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and planning tools (e.g. Jedox, Hyperion, TM1, Tagetik, etc.).
• Analytical mindset and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and understandably.
• Independent, motivated, and collaborative team player — you will work closely with other members of the Financial Controlling team.
• Preferably experience with data warehouses/SQL/BI and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of HGB and IFRS is a plus.
