About the role
- Assistant Financial Controller supporting financial operations at Lear Corporation, ensuring reporting and controls for the Redditch plant. Managing budgets, forecasts, and financial processes ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support the plant’s financial operations by ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and reliable budgeting and forecasting.
- Work as an integral part of the Plant Finance and Management team providing support and control to the Redditch plant.
- Assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of corporate and internal reporting.
- Assist in budget and short-term forecast preparation.
- Management of 3 direct reports.
- Management of key KPIs including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging.
- Full responsibility for Free Cash Flow forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
- Pursuing Continuous Improvements to financial controls and other operational processes.
- Judgmental Reserves Schedules and Accrued Liabilities reporting.
- SOX Testing Reviews and presentation to the Financial Controller.
- Preliminary Balance Sheet Reconciliation Reviews.
- Warranty exposure calculation and provision.
- Product Profitability Analysis and Reviews.
- Management and completion of month-end processes including variance analysis.
- Reporting plant performance through Hyperion.
- Working closely with external auditors for year end and interim audit work.
- Review and sign off on headcount.
