About the role
- Controller responsible for creating financial reconciliations for hospitals. Involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and supports financial statement preparation.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of revenue reconciliations (Erlösausgleiche) under KHEntgG/BPflV for our hospitals
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including the consolidated financial statements
- Preparation and commentary of controlling reports and financial plans
- Analysis of the income statement (profit and loss) in the monthly consolidated financial statements
- Conducting profitability and business-economics special analyses
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations and ad-hoc analyses, and participate in project work within interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration (preferably with a focus on Controlling, Accounting, Health Economics) or comparable practical qualifications
- Solid knowledge of hospital financing
- Practical experience in preparing, analyzing or evaluating revenue reconciliations under KHEntgG/BPflV — or willingness to develop expertise in this area
- IT affinity and good knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Ideally experience with Business Intelligence software (e.g., IBM Cognos) or comparable applications
