About the role

  • Payroll Specialist responsible for preparing payroll and handling related inquiries in SAP HCM. Collaborating with employees and authorities on payroll-related processes with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Independently and punctually prepare the monthly payroll for a defined group of employees in SAP HCM
  • Handle all pre- and post-payroll activities related to payroll processing
  • Act as point of contact for employees on all payroll-related inquiries
  • Manage all tax and social security processes, including issuance of certificates and documentation
  • Maintain, update and enter employee master data
  • Correspond with authorities, offices, health insurance funds and social insurance providers

Requirements

  • Completed commercial (business) vocational training or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
  • Ideally, solid experience with SAP HCM and confident use of MS Office
  • Strong IT affinity and enjoyment working with various HR IT systems
  • Structured, results-oriented work style and strong communication skills
