About the role

  • Strategic Account Executive managing and expanding relationships with existing clients for Finastra's payments solutions. Driving growth and ensuring client satisfaction across North America and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to deepen relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional client experience and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Proactively identify client needs and align them with our solutions to drive revenue growth within existing accounts.
  • Work closely with product specialists, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions and maximize client value.
  • Oversee contract renewals and ensure long-term client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Utilize CRM tools and analytics to track account performance, forecast revenue, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with leadership to develop strategies for account expansion and contribute to overall revenue goals.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B complex sales, with a focus on account management and growth in large or strategic accounts.
  • Experience selling wholesale payments solutions to large US banks.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding existing client relationships and driving incremental revenue.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and account planning methodologies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to uncover opportunities within established relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • Collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally to deliver client-centric solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and initiatives simultaneously.
