About the role

  • Support Ticketing Finance division at FIFA in ensuring accurate financial accounting and ticket management. Handle month-end close and coordinate financial reporting efforts for ticketing services.

Responsibilities

  • Starting in August 2026 and Reporting to the Team Lead Ticketing Finance, you support the Ticketing division in all Finance-related matters and ensures the integrity of ticketing accounting, enables the correct handling of ticket sales and all related services, and prepares accurate and timely financial statements and documents, in line with IFRS.
  • Oversee and monitor high-volume ticketing sales to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition across the ticketing finance and accounting systems.
  • Monitor internal control processes, including the reconciliation of ticketing sales and related financial data.
  • Maintain and manage the interface between the ticketing sales system and the accounting system, including configuration and setup for individual tournaments.
  • Coordinate and lead month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation and review of financial reports for FIFA Ticketing subsidiaries.
  • Review general ledger accounts and prepare, review, and post journal entries, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals and adjustments.
  • Act as a finance business partner to the Ticketing team, providing financial guidance, analysis, and support on ticketing-related matters.
  • Manage customer-related financial enquiries and oversee the processing of ticketing refunds in accordance with policies and controls.
  • Analyse market, regulatory, and legal conditions in host countries during the tournament project-planning phase to assess financial and accounting implications.
  • Manage and coordinate international GST/VAT compliance requirements, including preparation and submission of relevant tax returns where applicable.
  • Assist with external and internal audit and special projects.

Requirements

  • Degree as Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management, Federal Diploma of Higher Education.
  • At least five years’ professional experience in financial accounting in similar positions within international environments.
  • Proficient in Excel/ Word / PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI
  • Very good understanding and knowledge of accounting and controlling principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Responsible personality with high self-initiative.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Positive and dynamic Team Player.
  • Willingness to cope with flexible working hours during sales phases.
