About the role
- Finance Lead supporting high-growth Services organization at HP with financial processes and analyses. Partnering with global teams to create profitable growth and shareholder value in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage all financial processes related to WS services (Flash, MEC, Quota)
- Forecasts financial results within the broadest scope including providing analytics, reviews, narratives, and bridges.
- Actuals variance analysis and FDE reviews and narratives including bridges.
- Involved in account level profitability reviews.
- Will be responsible for Managed services deal approvals for both PS and Print contractual business as per the approval matrix.
- Provide finance opinion on the deals and as well advise on the affordability and shaping of the deals whilst working with the business teams.
- Provides the most complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a unique understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
- Consults with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.
Requirements
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
- Typically, 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
