Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing and analyzing activities in the Tax Planning area: internal consulting related to the registration of the Company's tax rules.
- Prepare technical tax opinions on the fiscal impacts of operations and projects to be implemented by the Company.
- Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Update internal controls for the tax planning area related to direct and indirect taxes.
- Conduct studies of tax legislation at federal, state, and municipal levels to support all company areas on tax matters related to the Company's operations.
- Prepare communications and technical tax opinions for other areas of the company regarding changes in legislation or resulting from the review of tax rule parameters.
- Create PowerPoint materials about studies and operational flows of the company, following company standards.
- Participate in strategic study projects and new operations, producing a final technical tax opinion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Economics, or related fields.
- Solid experience in the tax area, with strong knowledge of tax legislation at federal, state, and municipal levels.
- Experience preparing technical tax opinions.
- Experience with tax registration; knowledge of cost accounting and tax calculations is desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of Tax Substitution (Substituição Tributária), its rules and reimbursement methods.
