About the role

  • Performance Insight Analyst focused on analyzing performance data for Affinity Water's Smart Metering Programme. Driving insights and improvements in operational performance with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Collating and validating data to support internal reporting against operational commitments.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regulators.
  • Contributing to third‑party assurance activities.
  • Driving continuous improvements in reporting quality and helping introduce innovative solutions.
  • Supporting the development of dashboards and visual tools to communicate performance.
  • Producing written performance insight reports for key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring progress against performance improvement plans.
  • Engaging with regulators and external stakeholders to shape future industry approaches.
  • Representing Affinity Water at industry events, conferences, and workshops.
  • Maintaining documentation, data files, and records required for accurate reporting.
  • Building strong internal relationships to understand the root causes of performance issues.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into meaningful insight.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence and challenge.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Curiosity, problem‑solving ability, and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience working with performance data or reporting (industry experience beneficial but not essential).
