Responsibilities
- Negotiation of supply contracts as well as framework and terms agreements
- Creating purchase orders in the ERP system and handling the entire order process
- Market monitoring, requesting quotes and preparing price comparisons
- National and international supplier correspondence and support, both written and by phone, including supplier sourcing and selection
- Ensuring delivery capability
- Optimizing operational purchasing processes and coordinating and further developing IT-supported ordering processes
- Managing prices, delivery and payment terms, and checking invoices in case of discrepancies
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training
- Several years of professional experience in technical/industrial procurement
- Proven experience with MS Office and an ERP system
- Very good German and English skills
- Cost-conscious and analytical mindset, commitment and team orientation
- Strong communication skills, structured working style and assertiveness
