Responsibilities
- partners with business teams to design and implement complex data and analytics-centric and value-added systems and solutions that enable business outcomes
- develops complex value-based analytics solutions for quality, business process functionality, or other strategic/data/analytic initiatives that are complex in nature
- collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and establish analytics requirements
- creates detailed documentation and business plans that address stakeholder needs
- liaises between IT, data science/R&D teams and Product Management for analytics models and data solutions
- develops and implements complex enterprise-wide data integration strategies that utilize various data-marts and data warehouse applications to enhance reporting
- continuously works across departments with a variety of stakeholders to develop and execute project plans, improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet emerging and changing business demands and guidelines
- consults with minimal guidance on UAT, technical specifications, strategic planning, contract design, technical support, testing updates, and trainings
- learns and uses new Microsoft Office Products, SQL, and other tools to extract data and build dashboards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field
- 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analyst position
- 3 years of experience with each of the following:
- • working in P&C insurance industry;
- • coding in SQL including Tables, Window Functions, Case Statements, and Partition;
- • working with Excel analytical tools, including pivot tables, charts, data validation, and what-if / scenario analyses;
- • working with Excel data management tools, including data tables, linking across files, nested formulas, array formulas and data cleaning;
- • working with Power BI Dashboards and metric builds.
