About the role

  • Field Training Specialist at Family Resource Home Care training and mentoring staff for consistent practices. Focusing on employee development through various training programs and hands-on support.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, including in-person, virtual, and written formats.
  • Lead onboarding, mentoring, and coaching to support employee development.
  • Tailor training programs to meet the needs of different roles and departments.
  • Assess and improve training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics.
  • Identify skill gaps and collaborate on corrective training plans.
  • Maintain training records, including attendance and assessments.
  • Align training strategies with company goals through regular collaboration with leadership.
  • Travel to field locations (60-70%) to provide hands-on training and support.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in training, education, or related field
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-learning tools
  • Ability to adapt training for diverse learners and styles
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in long-term care or healthcare.
