Responsibilities
Lead and Develop a Remote Team: Mentor and support four accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability.

Manage Month-End and Year-End Close: Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Support Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
Coordinate with External Partners: Work with auditors and tax advisors as needed.
Meeting facilitator: Acts as the chair for meetings focused on financial strategic initiatives.
Change leader: Collaborates with upper-level management on key strategic decisions involving software, resources, and cash flow management.
Requirements
Proven experience leading and developing remote teams.
Strong technical accounting background with an operational mindset.

Experience with M&A accounting integration.
Skilled in preparing financial statements and conducting audits.
Proficient in account reconciliations and journal entries.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
