Product Operations Associate managing OTT app creation and support for clients in Latin America. Collaborating with Sales, IT, and Marketing teams to optimize user experiences.
About the role
- Support the rollout of BirdBox hardware and software products in the field, managing logistics, installations, and customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure IoT kits (routers, gateways, sensors, etc.)
- Basic assembly of enclosures & product kits
- Hardware testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting issues
- Stock management (tracking, ordering components, coordinating new builds with suppliers)
- Package and ship products to customer sites
- Plan installation timelines and coordinate field deployments
- Onsite visits to farms for pre-install surveys and post-install follow-ups
- Liaise with farmers to understand their site layouts, requirements, and constraints
- Adapt kit configurations to site-specific needs
- Provide clear documentation and installation notes
- Collect and report product feedback to the product and engineering team
- Monitor installation and early performance
- Provide structured product feedback
- Work closely with Product Manager to prioritise improvements
Requirements
- Early-career/Graduate position (0–3 years experience)
- Comfortable with hands-on work: assembling, configuring, shipping hardware.
- Tech literate: basic knowledge.
- Organised and good communicator: will need to speak to farmers and internal teams clearly.
- Full, UK driving licence and car.
- Interest in agri-tech, IoT, or sustainability is an advantage.
- Organised self-starter; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable with working remotely and with colleagues in a variety of international locations.
- Languages: English required, additional languages would be beneficial.
