About the role
- Principal Product Manager driving multi-year observability strategy for F5 Distributed Cloud. Collaborating with teams to enhance application security and performance.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for platform observability
- Define and Drive the integration with external logging systems
- Collaborate with service product leaders to deliver differentiated capabilities to provide insights on traffic visibility, WAF telemetry, and API protection
- Align observability investments with SaaS scale, cost optimization, and reliability goals
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience with at least 3+ years in building B2B SaaS products
- Knowledge in Distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on familiarity with observability tools such as: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo, Elastic, Datadog, Splunk, etc
- Experience building products for multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of L4–L7 networking concepts (TCP, TLS, HTTP, gRPC , APIs)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through delivery in a fast-paced SaaS environment
