Responsibilities

- Delegate responsibilities strategically, identifying and leveraging each team member’s strengths.

- Act as the spokesperson for engineering best practices, advocating for the quality, scalability, and maintainability of solutions in all product and strategy discussions.
- Monitor task progress, help the team decide on the best technical approaches, document decisions, and clearly communicate the trade-offs involved.
- Manage the team’s technical metrics, implement monitoring tools to provide visibility into issues, and collaborate with other leaders to create technical and strategic roadmaps.
- Work directly with Product Managers (PMs) from discovery through delivery, assessing impacts and risks and mapping solutions to users’ problems.
- Manage the team’s workflow, plan deliveries, ensure project execution, and clearly communicate the status of initiatives to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience with the .NET ecosystem, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and related frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of software architecture for complex, scalable, distributed web applications.
- Hands-on experience with cloud architecture (GCP or AWS), using their core services.
- Experience with container orchestration, especially Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge of modern front-end technologies (particularly TypeScript, React, and/or Vue.js).
- Experience with messaging systems (preferably RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB), including data modeling and optimization.
- Software quality mindset, with expertise in unit and integration testing and other best practices.
- Clear communication skills to move between deep technical discussions with the team and strategic conversations with leadership.
