Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Lead the migration of on-premises applications to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud service providers, tools, and technologies to enhance the customer’s cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security, implementing necessary adjustments as needed.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineering teams.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the cloud strategy remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, networking, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment; strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) and demonstrated integrity in a professional environment.
- Nice to Have: Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect. Any other vendor cybersecurity or cloud related certifications (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Terraform, etc.).
