About the role

  • Responsible for creating overall end to end testing strategy for Life and Annuities platform
  • Responsible for creation of Master Test Plan, Detailed Test Plan, Test Cases and other deliverables in accordance with the SDLC guidelines via manual and automated framework in a predominantly Agile framework
  • Work with various development, QA and Test environment teams for overall integration strategy
  • Good working experience on automation tools and framework.
  • Contribute for the establishment and adherence to quality assurance guidelines and standards defined by project and/or organization requesting testing services
  • Conduct periodic project review and report to the leadership team
  • Responsible for producing various test metrics, defect reports, status reports etc
  • Good US life and annuities experience

Requirements

  • 8-10 yrs exp as Manual QA in Life and Annuities
  • Must be well versed with various SDLC processes
  • Experience/Understanding of bug life cycle
  • Well versed with black box testing techniques and testing methodologies
  • Experience working with tools like JIRA, IBM Rational, HP QC etc.
  • Experience working in Agile an agile delivery framework
  • Experience in testing both SOAP and Restful APIs
  • Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other
  • Good understanding of SQL
