About the role

  • Vendor Sales Executive responsible for managing cybersecurity vendor relationships and developing security solution strategies at Exclusive Networks. Focus on partner engagement, relationships, and market activities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic and operational development of a defined vendor portfolio with a focus on security solutions
  • Establishing, expanding and maintaining business relationships with vendors
  • Building and expanding customer relationships through partner identification, recruitment, enablement and development using targeted measures
  • Implementation of go-to-market activities
  • Responsible for delivering webinars as well as sales and technical workshops
  • Monitoring key technologies and market trends in the security landscape
  • Providing training for sales staff and business partners
  • Developing and implementing your own sales ideas and new go-to-market opportunities in close coordination with the sales team
  • Close collaboration with the marketing department to run joint campaigns
  • Solution-oriented product and pricing positioning
  • Ensuring the interface to the technical department and maintaining close exchange with the presales team
  • Preparation of business plans and quarterly reporting
  • Setting, implementing and monitoring vendor targets
  • Tracking and enforcing forecast objectives

Requirements

  • A completed degree or commercial/vocational training
  • Several years of practical experience in a comparable position
  • Familiarity with vendors in the IT sector, ideally in the cybersecurity domain
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Structured way of working
  • Independent, self-reliant working style
  • Strong project management skills with a high sense of responsibility and flexibility
  • Convincing presentation, communication and moderation skills (oral and written)
  • Confident use of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Confident professional appearance and strong team orientation
  • Flexibility to accommodate significant travel activity
