About the role

  • Associate Talent Acquisition Partner focusing on talent acquisition for clinical research at Excelya. Collaborating with Hiring Managers and operational teams across multiple regions in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Sourcing & Market Intelligence
  • Proactively source, identify, and engage top talent for complex and niche roles using diverse channels such as direct sourcing, databases, networking, referrals, and talent platforms.
  • Conduct deep market mapping exercises to understand talent availability, competitor insights, and regional talent trends.
  • Build and maintain high-quality active and warm talent pools to support ongoing and future hiring needs across EMEA.
  • Use talent intelligence and data to spot market patterns, support workforce planning, and refine sourcing strategy.
  • Pipeline Development & Candidate Engagement
  • Create long-term sourcing strategies tailored to critical roles in clinical research and operations.
  • Nurture and maintain ongoing relationships with potential candidates to ensure a steady talent pipeline.
  • Develop targeted engagement messaging that reflects Excelya’s values and provides an excellent candidate experience from first contact.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and align on sourcing priorities, timelines, and search strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline progress, market insights, challenges, and recommended strategies.
  • Contribute to broader talent acquisition initiatives by sharing best practices, insights, and creative approaches to sourcing.
  • Quality, Data & Performance
  • Work with KPIs and SLAs tied to sourcing efficiency, pipeline quality, responsiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Use recruitment data and sourcing analytics to optimise your approach and improve overall time-to-slate.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and high standards in all sourcing activities.

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Sourcer, Talent Researcher, Resourcer, or Sourcing Specialist, ideally in fast‑paced or high‑volume environments such as RPOs, agencies, resourcing centres, or agile in-house teams.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing for complex, niche, or hard‑to‑fill roles, ideally in CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
  • Strong expertise in direct sourcing, Boolean search, talent mapping, and passive candidate engagement.
  • Experience building and nurturing large-scale talent pools for current and future needs.
  • Evidence of working with KPIs, SLAs, and data-driven insights to improve sourcing outcomes.
  • Previous experience sourcing across multiple European regions is a strong advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate effectively with TA Partners, Hiring Managers, and external networks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence passive candidates confidently.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with tight timelines.
  • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or Life Sciences related field or equivalent through experience
  • Languages: You need to be fluent in French and English. Any other European language is a bonus.
