About the role
- Meter Consultant supporting Metering Operations and Engineering at Eversource. Troubleshooting metering issues and providing analytical support across the territory.
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, reviews, and provides information in support of Metering Operations, Meter Engineering, Billing, and associated departments
- Troubleshoot a variety of issues related to the metering process and make recommendations to management
- Analyzes existing work practices to support effective field and system operations
- Provide analytical and technical support for daily work processes and metering‑related projects across the entire Eversource territory
- Interact with customers, as needed, to support special projects, billing inquiries, and metering‑related concerns
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field is required
- Three (3) plus years of relevant experience required
- Working knowledge of metering concepts, operating procedures, and associated metering systems
- Proficiency with PCs and standard computer applications
- Working knowledge of C2, FieldNet, and SAP is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to develop and maintain macros, are preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
