About the role

• Director of SNP Operations overseeing strategic and operational management of Eutelsat’s LEO satellite ground network. Leading teams to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operations strategy for OneWeb’s global SNP network, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Lead and mentor regional SNP managers, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Manage SNP implementation and vendor SLA compliance.
• Drive site expansion upon request, upgrades, documentation, and configuration management.
• Define, monitor, and enforce global SLA and KPI frameworks.
• Implement reporting mechanisms to track performance, availability, and compliance.
• Establish global standards for SNP maintenance, security, and operational excellence.
• Oversee global vendor performance and training.
• Manage global SNP operational budgets, including forecasting and cost optimization.
• Lead global incident response and change management processes.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in global operations leadership within satellite or telecommunications industries.
• Proven track record managing geographically dispersed teams and complex technical infrastructures.
• Expertise in SLA/KPI frameworks, operational governance, and vendor management.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget oversight.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
• Preferred qualifications: Deep technical understanding of LEO satellite ground systems and Ka/Ku-band technologies.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Experience with fiber optic and RF infrastructure standards.
• Strong team-building and oversight skills.
