About the role
- Director of SNP Operations overseeing strategic and operational management of Eutelsat’s LEO satellite ground network. Leading teams to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end operations strategy for OneWeb’s global SNP network, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Lead and mentor regional SNP managers, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Manage SNP implementation and vendor SLA compliance.
- Drive site expansion upon request, upgrades, documentation, and configuration management.
- Define, monitor, and enforce global SLA and KPI frameworks.
- Implement reporting mechanisms to track performance, availability, and compliance.
- Establish global standards for SNP maintenance, security, and operational excellence.
- Oversee global vendor performance and training.
- Manage global SNP operational budgets, including forecasting and cost optimization.
- Lead global incident response and change management processes.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in global operations leadership within satellite or telecommunications industries.
- Proven track record managing geographically dispersed teams and complex technical infrastructures.
- Expertise in SLA/KPI frameworks, operational governance, and vendor management.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget oversight.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
- Preferred qualifications: Deep technical understanding of LEO satellite ground systems and Ka/Ku-band technologies.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience with fiber optic and RF infrastructure standards.
- Strong team-building and oversight skills.
