About the role

  • Manager leading Data Operations team at Dun & Bradstreet, utilizing analytics to drive business insights and innovation. Fostering collaboration across teams and implementing data solutions for various business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Global Data Operations processes based on D&B’s established best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Create new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, automation, and data visualization.
  • Champion the use of new tools and techniques to maximize big data opportunities and leverage the latest data engineering thinking and techniques.
  • Be the go-to expert on specific aspects of data operations and control specific to your role.
  • Explore advanced big data analytics in emerging areas such as machine learning and artificial intelligence to streamline business processes and working practices. Engage clients and D&B colleagues to identify business needs and develop, implement, and manage solutions.
  • Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support governance initiatives and products, building and testing Proof of Concept that meet business needs.
  • Search for new alternative solutions based on use cases – customer problems by business unit, data quality and additional data needs.
  • Complete understanding and successful application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related to solid instructional design principles in developing instructor lead (classroom and on the job) and e-Learning training programs and quality programs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a data-related role.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience with a proven track record of leading, developing, and providing direct feedback.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Modern Data Analytical Skills a plus, including but not limited to SQL, Python, Business Intelligence (PowerBI).
  • Solid understanding of core Python programming, including coding, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Understanding of the core principles of logic, ML and LLM.
  • Be strategic but with an execution mindset. Be able to lead the innovation ideas as well as deliver on the execution, with evidence of developing new ideas or launching new initiatives.
