System Analyst responsible for infrastructure components of Eppendorf's developer network. Administering CI systems and providing support and training for DevNet users.
Responsibilities
Administer and develop all infrastructure components of Eppendorf’s global developer network.
Act as system owner for central CI systems such as GitLab and Artifactory, as well as other DevNet infrastructure components.
Responsible for the administration and management of DevNet-related authentication systems such as LDAP.
Define and manage infrastructure components using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach, primarily with Ansible.
Support and configure developer workstations, and provide support and training for all DevNet users.
Serve as the interface to central IT to ensure information flow and collaboration between teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity across the supported area.
Requirements
Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in application development or system integration, or a completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in applied or technical computer science.
At least three years of experience configuring and administering Unix/Linux-based server and PC systems, and in setting up and operating DevOps architectures.
Familiarity with provisioning and setup of systems using Ansible or Terraform.
Practical knowledge of DevOps and GitOps principles.
Knowledge of project management and agile methodologies.
Service-oriented with a results-driven, structured, and conceptual mindset.
Open, communicative, and proactive personality.
Excellent written and spoken English.
