Responsibilities
You enjoy performing software installations on-site at customer locations and instructing and advising users.
As a PLC Programmer, you are responsible for commissioning our software after a successful sale and act as the primary contact for our customers on-site.
You install and configure our standard software at the customer's site or remotely.
You are responsible for connecting and integrating all common automation systems with our software platform.
You provide subsequent instruction and training for administrators and end users.
You also support our users with complex questions, analyze faults, and work with them to develop structured solutions.
Requirements
Completed vocational training in automation technology, information technology, or a comparable qualification; technician qualification or degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience — career changers welcome!
Knowledge in automation technology, e.g., SIMATIC system knowledge (S7, TIA, HMI, PCS7) or other controller families (Schneider Electric, Rockwell, etc.), and industrial communication (Ethernet / PROFINET / PROFIBUS)
Good knowledge of IT and networking
Good spoken and written German and English
Strong analytical, structured, and goal-oriented working style
Excellent team skills and a strong customer- and service-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel and a Class B driving license
