About the role

  • Business Development Representative generating and cultivating leads for outside Sales Team at Epicor. Engaging with prospects to achieve sales quotas while developing relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to ‘warm’ inquiries to understand interest in our products via phone, email, social media, etc.
  • Cultivate net new mid-sized and large prospects through outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Engage with mid-sized and large prospects, building relationships with relevant roles (C-Level).
  • Assist sales counterparts by building pipeline, delivering qualifying leads, and cultivating new prospects.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly scorecard metrics.
  • Conduct market research to be followed up by the Territory Managers in the field.
  • Continuously learn our applications/value proposition/differentiation to enhance conversations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent phone voice, manner, written, and verbal communication skills with proven leadership experience and a desire to move into future leadership roles.
  • Experience fielding questions from prospects and customers about the company, products, services, and implementation.
  • Preferred telephone sales experience, or solution selling experience in the software industry.
  • Cultivate and manage existing leads in a sales pipeline through preliminary sales stages and have held individual quota goals with a proven track record preferred.
