About the role

  • Director I, Pre-Access responsible for leading the team across multiple markets in healthcare revenue cycle management. Focused on performance excellence and regulatory compliance at Ensemble Health Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes department strategy, direction, and breakdown of department assignments by leader.
  • Leads pre-access managers focusing on standardization, consistency, and best practices.
  • Partners with other revenue cycle and facility leaders to ensure upstream/downstream impacts of workflow and to establish positive relationships.
  • Coaches and develops department managers to find trends and implement process improvement.
  • Audits accounts and reviews denials to ensure workflow effectiveness.
  • Communicates departmental goals to staff to optimize performance and meet budgetary goals while improving operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare role
  • 3+ years of revenue cycle operations or Pre-Access experience
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI
  • Work experience with Epic
  • Experience building reporting and analytics to monitor performance and drive process improvement
  • Pre-access operations experience and/or call center experience a plus
  • Financial and project management experience
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • CRCR certification required within first 9 months of hire (Ensemble supported)
