About the role

  • Field Service Engineer providing after-sales services for Emerson's measurement products and instrumentation solutions. Responsible for installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide after-sales services (proposals, solutions, maintenance and so on) for our customers who use our products
  • Provide support for the installation and commissioning of measurement and analytical instruments
  • Diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, investigate root causes, and offer technical advice to customers
  • Conduct inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance of measurement instruments
  • Provide guidance on product usage and optimization, and respond to technical inquiries from customers
  • Perform initial setup, parameter configuration, communication settings, and functional optimization for newly delivered instruments at Emerson Chiba Service Center

Requirements

  • Interested / motivated to work on-site (e.g.: plants, customers’ plants/field locations)
  • General knowledge of instrumentation
  • Technical background
  • Business /native levels of Japanese proficiency at reading, writing, listening and speaking
  • Soft skill-set such as communication and good relation building with customers and respective counterparts
