About the role

  • Analyst ensuring compliance with International Trade regulations at Emerson. Supporting business units in managing trade compliance programs and FTA qualification in Philippines.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the Business Unit’s (BU) transactions are screened and compliant with rules and regulations and Emerson’s policies on International Trade Compliance
  • Ensure that the BU complies with various rules of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) by helping perform FTA qualification and solicitation
  • Support the BU’s annual USMCA supplier solicitation
  • Determine the eligibility of BU’s products under U.S. government-funded procurement laws
  • Provide tariff classification and analysis of BU’s products
  • Prepare a monthly broker scorecard for BU’s accredited brokers
  • Support the BU in managing its trade compliance program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any course
  • At least 1 year of experience in trade compliance, product classification, export transaction screening, FTA and Country of Origin Management
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other web-based applications
  • USMCA Supplier solicitation
  • Understanding of business tools (e.g., Oracle, Amber Road, etc.)
  • Good analytical skills and keen attention to details
