About the role
- Payroll Processor responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for e.l.f. Beauty across multiple regions. Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance and data integrity in payroll operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific (APAC), including input validation, audits, reconciliations, and funding.
- Maintain accurate employee data across payroll, finance, and HR systems to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors on payroll posting, funding, and tax reconciliation.
- Support monthly and quarterly payroll reporting and analytics.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and control checklists.
- Participate in system enhancement and automation projects to streamline payroll operations and improve efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis on payroll discrepancies, identify process gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure consistent quality and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance payroll accuracy, scalability, and employee experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience (U.S. and global payroll experience preferred).
- Experience with payroll, Finance, and HR systems such as ADP, SAP, and BambooHR or other HR Information Systems.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation).
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.
