About the role
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Advisor contributing to data protection and security at Elevance Health. Supporting engineering design and project management for DLP and data classification tools.
Responsibilities
- Provides advanced level engineering design for DLP and Data Discovery/Classification tools
- Ensures and reviews appropriate testing practices for current and future state technologies
- Reviewing and investigating results from deployed technologies to provide key data points to other Information Security programs
- Assisting in process and project management
- Provide required information for audit and compliance
- Represents major upgrades and business system replacements to leadership
- Establishes vendor relationships for DLP and Data Discovery/Classification products and services
- Provides technical guidance and leadership to Program engineers
- Ensures security solutions involving the use of technologies are well-conceived, designed and implemented in compliance with enterprise standards
- Develops testing plans to ensure quality of implementation
Requirements
- Requires BS/BA degree in Information Technology or related field of study
- Minimum of 5 years experience in systems support, system administration, system engineering, system security, access management, network security, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, and/or data
- Prior experience in generative AI, LLM's and prompt engineering is highly preferred
- Experience in planning and designing highly complex systems
- Prior experience in a Data Loss Prevention Program, Data Classification Program, or similar initiative is highly preferred
- Basic networking knowledge will be helpful
- AWS, GCP, M365 and Azure general knowledge is preferred
- Security Certifications: CISSP or other technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner, Certification and Accreditation Professional) strongly preferred
