About the role
- Corporate Lawyer managing legal compliance and governance in the Eletromidia Group. Responsible for legal documents and advising on corporate matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and update minutes, articles of association (bylaws), and other corporate documents.
- Manage and keep corporate books and company records up to date.
- Support corporate governance matters, ensuring best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Work on intellectual property, including active management of the group’s trademarks and patents portfolio, handling filings, renewals, and protection of intangible assets.
- Draft and manage powers of attorney and other relevant legal instruments.
- Provide advisory support on various corporate and company law matters.
Requirements
- Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Proven experience in corporate routines (minutes, articles of association/bylaws, governance, corporate books), preferably within business groups with multiple subsidiaries.
- Experience in intellectual property (trademarks and patents).
- Experience drafting and managing powers of attorney and corporate documents.
- Advantage: prior experience with publicly traded companies or companies that manage public concession contracts.
- Advisory mindset, with the ability to translate legal terms into practical solutions for the operational areas of the Eletromidia Group.
- Highly organized to manage deadlines and multiple documents simultaneously, proactive, and excellent legal drafting skills.
