Dynamics Manager II managing department testing for innovative projects at Element U.S. Space & Defense, providing technical supervision and customer interaction for testing processes.
Responsibilities
Plan, conduct and supervise all department testing for a specific site
Provide technical and administrative supervision to assure that the technical, administrative, schedule and budget goals for the department are achieved
Provide technical and administrative direction to the department staff
Interact with customers and Program Managers for technical support and review of test results
Troubleshoot escalated testing issues
Work with department staff to run certain tests, particularly if they are complex in nature
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
5 years' experience in a related industry
Experience participating in multi-functional teams
Advanced interpretation and analysis of test results
Advanced understanding of engineering principles; expert understanding of data interpretation, Dynamics testing & troubleshooting
Advanced knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical principles, strong knowledge of all potential aspects of safety
Strong management skills, mathematical skills, and mastery of all standard and complex Ballistics equipment
Proficient MS Office skills; understanding of AC/DC circuits
BS in Engineering or related field (Preferred)
10 years in a related testing field, 5+ years in a management role (Preferred)
Experience in aerospace, defense, or heavily related industry (Preferred)
